Half way there!!! (or close to it!)

Well, we are half way there in this pregnancy. I am getting super excited!! I was 20 weeks on Tuesday, and had another OB visit yesterday.
I have been having a lot of lower pain early on this pregnancy..this happened with Reeves, but not until 27-28 weeks. So I was nervous, and asked the OB about it. She said that is common with a second pregnancy, but since I delivered Reeves at 35 weeks, and went into pre-term at 34 weeks she had some cause for concern. She checked my cervix, and she told me it was low. She then told me I needed to get checked out by a perinatal specialist. I go to one every 4 weeks for ultrasounds, but she wanted me checked out this week. I was able to get in yesterday at 3pm. The doctor was great, and checked everything out. He said my cervix was fine, and long, which is a great thing! The one thing he was concerned about was the fact I was having these pains this early, and I delivered my son early. He was not sure these pains were the reason I delivered early, or it was the fact that I am short..and I will have to deal with them. He wants me to go on progestrone shots in my hip once a week until 34 weeks. Barry will have to give these to me. This will stop any type of pre-term labor. Barry was a little nervous, but I think he will do fine. Other than the shots and the lower pain, I am doing great, and getting bigger each day!
Update on Reeves. He is almost 17 months old, and is in constant motion. He is running now, and loves to get into everything. I told myself I was not going to go overboard this year on Xmas. He has so much stuff right now, but of course I went overboard. I hit some great deals at Toys R Us. They are small stuff, but he will have a lot to open. We are so looking forward to Thanksgiving this year. My parents are heading into town next Wed, and my sister and brother in law and their two girls are coming in as well. We will have a full house, but going to love every minute of it. Barry is running the Atlanta Marathon on Thanksgiving morning. So we are heading down to the city around 6am for the 7am start. He has been training for a while, and he gets up and runs every morning in this cold weather!
I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!
